*Miss' eye's popping out of her head* I seriously need to find time to sit down and practice. :)

Bob, by any chance do you have a Mac? The reason I ask is I can't get my photos to load to the new Elements I bought. Another program, Iphoto, is automatically opening and accepting them. To move them between applications has proved to be a huge PITA.

Oh and yes, I've saw the pics of the GPO's you guys have taken. Very nice indeed.
Sorry, no Mac ... I just use a regular desktop PC (or laptop when traveling) ...

Here's a quick photo show of some of my pics from Cozumel ...

Overall I did 20 dives on the reefs and 2 dives in the Cenotes over on the mainland ... spent 9 days on the trip and about 24 hours underwater ...

Man, those are some fabulous pix! I got it from a later post that your only choices for music are what are furnished by the site. I know you would much rather it could have been "Stella Blue" or "Dark Star". ;^)

Great camera work!

Very great shots.....I heard Eagle rays are gone!!! have you guys seen eagle rays lately!!!?

Great pix, Bob. They bring back memories.
Thanks for posting them for us to share.

This is one of the more non-intuitive things on a Mac. You need to run the "Image Capture" program in your Applications folder, go to Preferences, and change the application that gets run when a camera is connected (which includes plugging in a memory card that came from a camera).

Wow, Bob. Well done.
POS, internal flash huh?
That's it. I'm selling my stuff.
(O.K., maybe not yet.)

Craig-

I'm an internal flash person too. I've tried using strobes but I seem to get better results manually setting the fstop and shutter speed to match the conditions for what I want to shoot and when needed, just using the internal flash. For a night dive on my last trip I used a video light rigged up on an ultralight arm and then also used the internal flash. Worked perfectly and served as my primary dive light too. (It has 3 brightness settings and I kept it on low so I didn't blind everyone.) All the extra toys don't always get you better results.

Scubawife,
Under the heading "noob," my 1st set of gear probably wasn't quite the right way to go.
Since my strobe will only slave to my camera (Oly SP350 and its dedicated housing), my results have been very mixed...often marginal, sometimes good.
Sounds like a week of putting away the strobe and playing with just the camera (and maybe a light) MIGHT produce some heartening results.
