Bob...you sold me! I'm ordering the housing from B & H tomorrow when they reopen :)

I'm not even going to lug my "big" bulky camera and strobe with me on my trip (T & C). I was planning to rent a video camera on the boat anyway to try something new...so now I'll have this little camera and the video camera...who knows what I'll come back with for MY trip report :)

I hope I capture some images half as good as yours. Thanks again for sharing those!

LOL....sounds like you are ready to go....only 36 days til' liftoff....:D Bob has given me some great pointers for our little camera....I need to take lessons from him....I have been practicing on the Bluebonnets in our front yard.....so I am hoping I can get some good land shots on the trip....

One thing I love about this camera is its video feature ... very easy to use. Get a 2 GB chip, though ... AVI files are HUGE! I shot about 1.4 gigs of video on our second cenotes dive ...

Wow, great show. Just got back, and I think I saw some of the same creatures you photographed. I'll try to to figure out how to post them.
It was nice to meet you guys at La Choza.

Steve.

Wow, that was amazing. I can't believe you did all that with that little camera.

To whom does that eye belong--the one with the Rock Beauty? Awesome photo!

I also couldn't identify #4--is that a parrot?

BTW, you can go to Paraiso for a night dive and not see an octopus--unfortunately. I've never seen one out of its lair yet. But as I posted on another thread, we got footage of a moray actually eating something, so it's all good. We also think we saw two lobsters mating, but the jury is still out on that one.

Thanks so much for taking the time to put this together and post it here!

Thanks for the compliments ...

I wish I knew ... it's one of those things I didn't even notice until I downloaded the picture ... and a nagging mystery ...
