Photo equipment prices

Do you guys know what is the best (price wise) place in the world to buy photo equipment. I know Canada is less expensive than Europe, the States are most likely even cheaper. How's Asia?

BTW thanks for hte advice on how to prevent fogging of the lens. I used silica gel packs, packed the camera in well air conditioned room and had no problems at all The visibility was at its lowest (down to 5 ' ) But I still managed to shoot a couple of fish.

Hong Kong is well known for its low prices. Japan as well since they make most of the stuff. Singapore is a good bet.
