You're right... I didn't mean to insinuate that a photoshop edit could equal the results of a proper strobe set-up.

However, it does illustrate that you can achieve pleasing results using a Point-and Shoot camera, no strobe and digital editing.

Mine was taken with an old Sony Cybershot T-20, that I found on a divesite in Thailand. It had laid at 40m in the silt for over 5 months. I cleaned up the housing, got a new battery and 'hey presto'... a camera that fits in my pocket for those unplanned shots on non-photo dives. :D

That's before & after photo, that I edited with Photoshop. In particular, using the Channel Mixer function to restore red pixels and give a more life-like color.
