Is there any reason this battery won't work? I bought this in Cozumel but got no signal whatsoever from the transmitter with it in it. Not sure if it's some other sort of CR2 that won't work. If it is a regular CR2, then it was DOA.

Thanks.

That doesn't look like the right size battery for the transmitter. It looks too long and skinny compared to other photos. But..., if you can screw the door shut, I would imagine it's just a dead battery. In CZM, I would wonder how often that battery types is turned over in the store inventory.

It’s definitely the same size as any other CR2 I’ve seen. The ‘1’ after it did make me skeptical.

Mine did not work either until I turned the battery the right way. The positive (nub) end goes in first.
It is the correct battery.

The only other thing I can suggest is to put a volt meter on the battery. It might be cheaper to buy another battery, though.

Check for a date on the packaging?

Maybe 1931 was the date of manufacture.

Seriously though, it looks like the best before date is 01 2024.

Nevermind. It's on the battery itself. 1-2024

Try a volt meter or another battery. Hopefully your TX module didn't die.
