What kind of valve do you guys recommend?

OMS and Diverite have those one way valves, that you just kind of let it go when you need to as opposed to the Halcyon for example, which requires you to open the valve.

Other than being much more expensive, I'd think the kind that you don't need to unscrew would be better?

A balanced valve is best as you do not need to worry about accidently leaving the valve open and having water leak in.

As a user of the Halcyon balanced valve, I learned the hard way that you need to make sure the valve is open before use. Otherwise, you end up with a water balloon in your suit. At least it didn't break

The OMS/DR stainless valves are very good, but they are heavy and can cut your suit if you're not careful. They work well on a heavy drysuit fabric, but can stress some of the thin tri-lams.

The Halcyon style balanced valve does not need the bolt installed to seal. Its a safety device in case of failure of the check valve or line. The unbalanced valve DOES require the bolt to be in place.

Scubanarc here has valves identical in function to the H balanced for half the price.

I know it has been done, I don't know how efficiently. A "brazilian" would be a big part of it and a lot of surgical glue if I remember correctly. I'm thinking it came up on the Tech list a couple of years ago, I think the aggravation factor made it very unpopular.

So no one knows of Female Pee valves.. Arg :P guess I get to go in the suit heehee.. You men have it too easy :P jk

Well true men don't have it THAT easy...Pee valves, relief zippers, you can pee ove r the side of a boat without risking the chance of falling in... need I explain more. Not fair :P heehee
I have been doing some research to find female pee valves, but have found nothing.. my guess is either wear depends, or to go a couple times before suiting up for the dive the dive especially if I am drinking alot of fluids to hydrate myself...
If anyone finds anything please message me. Thanks
