Has anyone ever installed a pee-valve into a wet suit in order to avoid "the funky smell" issue? Farmer Johns can be a bit troublesome to get in and out of. A pee-valve could simplify things. What would be the DIR position on such an arrangement?

I was going to ask him to give us a trip report... in a rented suit of course. :D

Sorry :( I would have liked to be in the shop when he returned the suit though

that this is not making a p-valave sound like too big a deal-it ain't...

It is EASY to put on the cath (we'll have the cold days/hands discussion in a different thread)

It is EASY to hook it up to the suit, or decide not to for a short dive...

It is inexpensive and reliable,

As far as needing to go...my rule of thumb is that if I do not have to go, I am not drinking enough-HOWEVER, I am a caffeine drinker.

Re: Pee valves - I'd rather have one and not need it, than need one and not have it!

I sure agree with that..

I finally got a dry suit and was just going to ask the same question.

You all answered it already. Need to install the valve. I have a little girlie bladder and always have to pee, unless I'm dehydrated.

Also as a few of you mentioned part of it I think is psycholgical. I play hockey and the same thing happens. As soon as I'm all geared up, I gotta go!

friend put a p-valve in his wetsuit until the hysterial laughter every time he went diving made him remove it.

Didn't I read someplace that Wayne just sort of, well, let it flow during gametime?

But is just the ritual, or do goalies get out the way, when you come flying down the ice with that yellow trail behind you?

Hi UP, would you contact me with a private meassage, as I cannot send one with this MAC and the new SB look. Your old messages were deleted automaically after a length of time, so I don't have them any more
Thanks for everyones patience.
