May I suggest maybe using a *Spare Air* instead?

Divers stay close enough together, that is you did have some type of freal OOA situation, you usually arent more than 5-10' away from your fellow divers, who all have Octos

Or maybe make a post in the *Regulator* forum about wondering if it is worth it to take one to Cozumel. You could get some good feedback there on it.

I thought I'd researched the Tank forum, but I looked again, and from what I see - Spre Air is worthless, especially below 60 feet, and Ponies are much more popular. And as far as other divers being close - not on the Cozumel drifts dives I've done! Depends on the divers, but I usually travel alone, and get one assigned. Never know??

Back to Papa Hogs....

We used them last year and were very happy with them. They really catered to what we wanted. This was our first dives after certification and they gave us as much help and attention as we wanted.

They are very service oriented. They picked us up each day at the hotel for the dives. They were happy to work with us to arrange evening dives (including picking us up again at the hotel).

The DMs were very good about finding things for us. They pointed out all kinds of things we would have missed on our own (including a sea horse!!!).

I highly recommend them to anyone.

My wife and I have dove with them for 4 years.30+ dives. This is a great opperation. Great divemasters and fast boats. You cant go wrong with them.Great food too, Try a crossant fo breakfast and a burger for lunch. You cant go wrong. Also watch for Margaret spoiling Blanca. She wears a bib and eats chicken at HER table. Great photo opportunity. If you get Ben for a divemaster you wil be pleasantly supprised. This guy knowes his stuff. And D-Dan are you going to wear that new speedo you won when you use that new regulator? I was there.

The other guy had me looking forward to BLANCA expecting a gorgeous blonde in a bikini. Now I'm starting to expect a white poodle or something?

Christina has us booked at an all inclusive resort - the Reef Club, so I imagine we'll eat the free food.

But it wasn't me who won the speedo. I won a t-shirt, the reg, and a workbook. I saw the speedo, tho: BAD!

Hahaha if you use Papa Hogs, then you will see for your self! Blanca may walk on 4 legs and have a tail, but I assure you she has more intelligence and more personality than alot of the blond's I have met in my life!!!!!!

And as to the AI food, yes it is good that it is free, but do not let that limit you to not trying the excellent food/restaurants that Cozumel has to offer!!!

And trust me (fellow AI'er here speaking from experience!!!) after 5 days of AI food, you MAY be craving a REAL *American* style cheese burger with real USA beef and honest to goodness cheddar cheese and some great french fries. If you get the hankerin, the Hog TOwn Cafe can not be beat! (all their food is great actually, and really affordable!).

Not that AI food is bad and you won't enjoy it, but it is worth it to eat out a few times.
