I used to use nail polish until I began diving in such a way that my fins weren't confused with others.

It may still happen now and again somewhere in the Caribbean but that's rare too as my fins are a bit distinctive. We're that to change, I'd go back to using nail polish.

Explain “bit distinctive”?

Deep 6 painted my fins orange for me.

I've been looking for those classic mud-flap design stickers to put on mine to no avail.

White paint marker works well. You could also engrave them, or use (duct)tape and write over it with permanent marker.
