Padi DPV specialty on Oahu

Does anyone teach the Padi DPV specialty course on Oahu? The scooters are slowly starting to get popular in Japan.

Not PADI, but yes. I guess I could send the 25 dollar check to PADI so I can teach the PADI version....

Aarons runs classes on them, but there is no cert that I know of.

Been a while since you paid for a Specialty ticket I'd guess; current price $57.50.

We offer the DPV specialty. And yes, it even comes with a cert. card.

Aaron's Dive Shop offers the specialty and is does now come with a certification. It's a pretty straightforward course involving some studying, two dives with the DPVs and a great deal of focus on safety and maintenance. You can start the class any day you like.

ok, thanks. I will be there in March for about 10 days. I know we were thinking of getting a couple of them this year. I just want to be sure that there aren't any real safety issues.
