Real tough guys just rip the hair out.
Even that's a bit on the "softer-side" really.
Real men use the AC-corded version in the shower!
:shocked2:
Here is the method that I use and it has been pretty much pain free since I went this route:
1 - Shower the night before, instead of the morning of, the scheduled dive. This will have "things" clean but still allow some body oils to accumulate in the specified area.
2 - Put the catheter on first thing in the morning rather than waiting to do it at the dive site.
3 - Leave it on until you get home after the dive.
4 - Removal should be very easy while in the shower.
5 - If diving multiple days, Make sure to use some type of adhesive remover to really clean up. The residue from the adhesive will tend to accumulate and it will be a rough go to remove it then.
Yikes. Diapers are sounding pretty good after this major shrinkage-inducing thread - LOL!
Do you notice, it all the guys bitching about hooking up the plumbing and surface prep? The gals have a much more difficult issue and less complaints.
It like all the guys complaining about their first prostrate exam in middle age, makes great stories and jokes until you realize its a piece of cake compared to what the other 1/2 has to endure most of their life.
