Cold water, STA, LP95 and 19 cuft pony. 30 lb. wing floats my rig on the surface fine!

Only advantage to the 45 is the inner gusset. Kind of a trick feature that looks cool but not sure if it REALLY cuts down drag or not.

Also, my wing has slots in to for plates like the Abyss to thread tank staps though, eliminating need for STA. I have heard though this set up dosen't work too well, tanks isn't as secure, flops around a bit. But, I don't know this for sure, just heard it.

is on the SURFACE.

At depth, the 30 is enough for a single. However, surface in rough conditions with a long swim ahead of you, and the extra lift is welcome.

I have both 30# and the 45# OxyCheq wings! I have 45# on a SS Koplin BP and STA, My 30# is for Travel on a Diverite Al backplate.

I just got the 70#, seems to be very well made, perhaps the inflator hose attachment to the bladder could have been a little stronger (my Zeagle seems to be far tougher).
I decided for the 70# because I'm big and heavy and I use a full thickness neoprene drysuit, plus I like to be able to be very buoyant at the end of the dive, on the surface.
Drag was not a concern, price of the 50# was the same, if I was a 130lb person I would have gotten the 50#, I'm 220 so I went for the 70#.
I can't wait to christen it!
