Is it possible for either the excursion or outrigger HLT to support a dual tank setup?

It's possible. The backplate is made of plastic so there is a potential cracking issue. I would imagine that it may work for AL80's, but I wouldn't try steel. I wonder if the setup allows for mounting on the fly, such as in the water?

Oceanic makes a kit for a doubles set up on the Excursion. Just go to their website.
