Me dive manifolded steel tanks in a wetsuit with no redundant bladder
but if I were you I would buy them all then tell us which ones you keep

Has anyone made any comparison on how fast you descend with total loss of inflation with full steel HP100 doubles roughly?

It's going to vary on individuals, but the last thing you want/need is to have to keep kicking constantly to maintain buoyancy during a 20-30 minute hang. In the order of preference, a balanced rig is #1, redundant buoyancy (dual bladder wing, drysuit) is #2.

If you do the dual bladder wing thing, make sure only one of your inflators is plugged in. In the event of a failure of your primary bladder you can orally inflate the secondary one. You should practice that regularly too.

LP85s if you have a long torso and don't sink in the ocean in swimsuit.
If you sink AL80s.
Possibly the floaty Faber 100s, definitely not pst or Faber mp100.

If you used an AL80 twinset and an additional AL80 tank, it might be better to put some low 02 gas like x32 in it rather than bottom gas. We do that all the time as a travel gas to save bottom gas on the way down and also use the x32 as a deco gas on the way up. Take the next course and also dive with x100.
