I found a whole outboard motor Saturday at the Dana Point Harbor underwater clean up, along with alot of other stuff. Only three docks.

We think someone went to steal it and didnt realize the awkwardness of them, and dropped it in the water. If the owner dropped it in he would have paid to get it back, it happens alot belive it or not. But who knows?

I have always heard that Tohatsu motors were good for nothing except anchors, but that is crazy! Nice job on the cleanup!

Opinions will vary, but I had a 5 hp on a 26' sailboat that worked exceptionally well for years. I believe the guy that bought the boat from me is still getting great service from it. Never considered using it for an anchor.
