Opinion based on a quick google search: Would not make my dive kit.

You have to decide what features are right for you.

For me it gets eliminated as it's not air integrated. I'm in information junkie and like reviewing dive profiles, air consumption, heart rates etc...

How to Buy a Dive Computer

air integrated is not a big deal to me. I know there are arguments for both.... but I'm prob gonna go w/o.

Thanks for the list. good read.

I'm kinda with you... a quick google search doesn't get me excited about it. I just had a great deal on one and haven't found a reason to pull the trigger and buy it. was hoping someone else could provide a better hands on review of it or more info that they might like that I'm missing....

thanks.

I just got a couple of them (for my wife and me) because I got a great deal.

I haven’t decided yet if I want to keep them. I have 30 days to return them.

This is my dilemma. I wanted a back up computer for our TUSA IQ-700 which I like very much. The IQ-700 has been very easy to use and relatively intuitive even if you don’t remember what the manual said.

The IQ-700 is the same as several other computers so it was also good to look at other manuals. I like that both the IQ-700 and the IQ-750 have the ability of changing to a second deco gas.

We were also able to get after-market computer mounts from Deep Sea Supply that use bungee cords and are very comfortable with any wetsuit or dry-suit.

I have not actually used the IQ-750 yet, but reading the manual it seems much more complicated than the IQ-700, but maybe that is just that the manual is not clear. You can download the manual from TUSA on a PDF format.

The first time set up seems complicated, but again sometimes the manual may be what makes it sound complicated. One advantage is that it seems that the initial set-up seems like it can be done from your home computer with the USB interface and the TUSA software.

I also have not been able to find if this new computer is the same as others (like the Oceanic VT3 or others) that DSS already makes instrument boots for with the bungee cord.

The IQ-750 has deep stops reminders in it which is good, but it still uses a traditional
Buhlmann ZHL-16c based algorithm.

It looks like a great computer and the price I got them for was great, but ease of use is important to me. I am leaning towards keeping at least one, but I haven’t decided yet.

I would really like to know what other computers might be the same.
