Has anyone seen or used a Mares Puck Pro Ultra? or Ultra Lite?
I don't see any reviews but it looks like a Puck Pro with a newer display and Bluetooth support? Plus a replaceable strap.
Is it missing anything from the Puck Pro? It looks like a reasonable dive computer for a noob recreational diver like me. Any opinions?

The Puck Lite (SKU 414172), the Puck Pro Ultra (414173) and Puck Pro EZ (414177) all seem to be the same. The manuals for the Puck Lite and Puck Pro Ultra are exactly the same except where the product is named. There may have been an older Puck Lite with SKU 44201808 which did not allow customization of the algorithm?

Also curious!!

It feels like a bit of pricing sleight-of-hand. I know nothing about the scuba industry, but this happens in a lot of other sectors. Let's say Hamilton Beach knows that Walmart is going to sell a huge number of their low-end toasters every year. Of course they want to give them a good price, but they don't want to irritate Target or Lowes or other big companies that sell their toasters. They give a great price to Walmart, but they also give the toaster an exclusive model number designation that is unique to Walmart. This way Target doesn't say "hey you're making us look bad because we have to charge $5 more at retail for the same toaster!" Because suddenly it's not the same toaster.

This dive computer is $175 at Walmart or Scuba.com. I wonder what the other "models" cost elsewhere?

Diver's Supply- is this the same dive computer?

The 44201808 code is for the relevant instruction manual, not the actual computer.

The Puck Lite also uses Mares part # 414171, so there are actually 4 part numbers and 3 labels for the same computer.

Ok, technically they may not all be identical. The EU Statement of Conformity for the Lite and Pro Ultra have the same date of 16 October 2024 and reference the same test number, while the Pro EZ is dated 27 May 2025 and references a different test number. This suggests one or more of the radio components has changed, but it doesn't appear to have resulted in a functional change.
