A short update on the Tusa Triforce... with rubber straps, they are completely NEUTRAL in Mediterranean saltwater. I tried 10m down and on the surface, they stay where you left them, which was an interesting finding. These are not small fins, so during a packed night dive, it is a bit of a challenge to maneuver with a bunch of people around you, while maintaining a proper trim with bent knees. But hey... people gonna learn not to stay above me. I prefer to kick someone in the balls rather than the sand or rocks below.
Without current, they were OK. Plenty of strength with frog kick, I tried only a couple of flutter kicks and they can move me well.
Helicopter turns and maneuverability are excellent. I struggled with reverse, for some reason when I kick, my legs tend to drag the body up. This could be due to stiffness and blade angle, or I just suck a it

. I didn't experience it with the angled Supernovas or with any flat fin like RK3...
A considerable design flaw for me is how far to the front is the mounting point of the heel strap. As a result, if I frog kick hard, i feel the wobble between the foot and pocket, and this is what I dislike a lot. Both with 5mm boots and surf shoes. Otherwise, they are very comfortable and fit well. But this wobble effect, I kinda anticipated it the moment I saw how the heel strap is positioned.
After 4 dives with 2 very challenging ones both on surface and under water, I feel a slight distant pain in the knees, that could be caused by the lang walk and rock climbing in full gear back to the truck, or by the strong frog kicks at one point of the dive due to sudden strong current that appeared towards the end of the dive. But I never had it immediately after dive until now. Getting older.
What's next. Don't know yet. Might try to get myself a pair of M-pocket midi blade Supernovas and give them a try. I need strong light fins to travel with. RK3s are neither strong nor light, so I still steer away from buying them, even though I like them a lot. This added weight during travels pisses me off a bit. Everything else in my dive kit is extremely light, and hey... add a pair of 5mm boots and fins and there you have 3 kg on top
