I just scored a OMS 232bar captured O-ring manifold and a Abyss 80lb red wing for $300NZ(US$200)The manifold is unused and retail here is $500. And the wing is slightly used by the look but in excellent condition. So I am pretty happy with the deal.

Anyway my questions are what are the pros and cons of the captured O-ring VS the rotating bar manifolds? Which one is DIR if any?

Nothing OMS is DIR, pretty much by definition :)

No, for some reason, captured o-rings are only DIR on regulators, not manifolds. That being said, I have one and I've never had a problem and the thing is probably 15 years old.
