I agree 100% - this thread serves no purpose.

There are only about 20 authorized uses in this forum right now. Do you guys really want us to throw away all of the chaff? Non-DIR answers to diving questions will be ruthlessly deleted and repeat "offenders" removed. (The speed in which this happens depends on how long it takes lamont to drink his morning triple-caff latte from starbucks.) I am inclined to let "off topic" stuff go because (1) it is less effort on our part, and (2) I am more concerned with non-DIR answers and silly arguments regarding actual diving.

Besides, it is a bit comical that the mods picked for this forum consist of a guy that is incapable of posting anything but a sarcastic answer and another (me) whose user name is stolen from one of the classic techdiver trolls. So, making fun of our selves is okay with me.
