I also recently acquired 4 steel 72s from my dad. They both have the "+" rating. I had them Hydro'd along with an AL65 and AL 80. I'm going diving in Santa Barbara (Truth Aquatics) this week and wanted to take them with me. I'm a bit concerned about bottom time but it seems to me that the boyancy characteristics are such that they might be a better choice for my fiance and I than the Aluminum tanks (80 & 65). Any thoughts?
 
The 10% overfill + can still be added during the next hydro if they follow the proper code (CFR49, section 173).
