Old Diver with Old Mares needs Old Parts!!!

Hello!

I have been out of diving for a "few years" and have found myself back in the tropics and able to take up the obsession again..... Problem is I cannot seem to find parts for my Mares (MKlV)? regulators. These were one of the best you could buy back when I was an instructor.....I REALLLLLY want to be able to use them again. Any idea where I can get parts to rebuild? My local shop has written me off. All I need is the standard rebuild kits-nothing fancy.....

Are you certain that your regs aren't MR12 III models?

If so, then most parts are still available.

Greg is most likely correct. You most likely have an MR-12 first stage (very common a "few years ago") Any Mares dealer should be able to help you. Mares parts are readily available. Great regs, but don't be afraid to look at some of the new designs in the sport today.
