I'm also new to SB, but have been around the block. NASDS certified in very early 1990s, worked up to DiveCon when SSI took them over. Sat out of the sport for quite a while, but got drawn back in because my son wanted to get certified last year. I audited his class with him so I could see how they teach now versus how we did it back in the day.
I still think I'm 22, but look a little less 22 these days compared to my C-card picture.
