I have three al80's. One never gets used, and has sat with 3000 psi for at least three years. I don't intend too use it but I'm wondering how long is too long to store compressed air?

I analyzed the air out of an old steel tank that I bought. Acording to the previous owner, the tank was last filled in 1969. The O2 level was 20.9%. The air was fine after 37 years.

I have some European tanks that I can’t use in the US. The air in them is over 20 years old and they are OK (I only keep a couple hundred PSI in them).
