Diving equipment on eBay (end time 26-Mar-11 13:44:14 GMT)

Is it about the size of the cylinder in the photo for this ebay post? If so it was probably the cylinder used to inflate the orange BCD. A friend of mine also has a Fenzy with the same sized bottle.

No . . . or, I cannot really tell since I'm not familiar with the orange BCD.

According to Catalina, it's 3.2" dia by 7.8" tall, which makes it 3" shorter than the 6cf. They look the same, with the same flat bottom; mine is shorter.

Jax... I use a 6cu' for my argon bottle. And I never use more than half... So, A 3cu' bottle should suffice.

Also, the 6cu' bottle will not fill a flat tire, so doubtful a 3cu' will on a car or truck

That's a 30cf and a 40cf, and the ruler is 1/2" longer than 12".

Unless I'm reading that wrong, that is a 6cf tank, not a 3cf

Catalina 6cf aluminum tank @ 3000 psi.

Really? That would be delightful! :dance3:

When I 'found' these through ScubaBoard (someone reported them in a thrift store), I posted the codes and was told I had a 30cf and 3cf.

Certainly looks like a 6cf - BTW, Never trust an architect's scale!

BTW, Never trust an architect's scale!

I couldn't find a good old-fashion 12" ruler to save my soul!

I am ecstatic! My thrift store find, with hydro, vis, valve and drysuit reg, cost me $70! :D

So, the "S6" after Catalina says it's a 6cf, huh? All the sites for tank codes discuss two lines, so I didn't get this one figured out.
