I have a catalina 3 cu ft I picked up from a thrift store. For what are they used?

I didn't even know there were AL-3's, but if I had seen one I probably would have bought it. Reason is, I don't have local diving, and I'm also a bit short on storage space; but I would love to have a "mini tank" so that I could keep my regs pressurized when I soak them, and also test them before trips, etc. Even an AL-6 is a lot bigger than I need for that (yet too small to really use).

At first I thought I could get a Spare Air for this, but then I realized they have a proprietary connection.

Great, now I have to find an AL-3...

Exactly why I bought it! Didn't know what good it was, but it had to be for something!!! :rofl3:

jax does it have a yoke valve, or other.

Actually, it has a DIN with insert . . . I saw a valve for sale and swapped out the original yoke.

Washing regs (we typically use AL6s for this).

Well, I'll be...! I thought we were the only ones that did this.

All the best, James

well then it would work for dry suit inflate, or just jump in pool with and see how long it last in shallows.

Then use it for spare air.

Everyone I talked to uses minimum 6cf, so I'm not seeing the 3cf useful. I guess I could try it, since it's full of air.
