Hey guys I am looking to pick up a Octo to finish off my regulator set and would like to use Scubapro's line up The choices that I have are between the R190 , R295 and Air2 alternate air source. Prices from the LDS are 140 to 145 to 215 respectively.
What are advantages disadvantages gripes about any or all of the products? Should I not worry about them being yellow or should chose a higher end reg like R395 or G250v. Price is a point I would like to maintain I am thinking that the 200+ is more then I would like to spend.

I asked the shop owner her opinion about what one to chose and she immediately said that I should go Air2 all the way she said that it has the best breathing at depth of all 3 listed. Needless to say I was a little apprehensive with her going directly to the highest priced one right off the bat and also, as a side note I had visited about 5 dives stores today and made mental notes of different products and prices and this place was consistently the highest in price on most items.

So if you could kindly voice a few opinions about the above items I would greatly appreciate it. I currently have a Mk17/X650 and Zeagle Tech BC with normal power inflater.

I would go with either the R190 or the R295. I personaly dont like the Air2 for backup but it just an opinion. I think the standard Octo will carry you through any type of diving you might do in the future.
