If you are going through DFW, AA is running 7 flights a week direct to the island, verses 5 last year and they are all much fuller than last year. Earlier this week on Palancar I could see 25-30 boats on the southern dive sites, last year there was one day I only counted 6. Year over year it looks like Cozumel's dive ops will have a good 'off' season, provided something silly (like Pandemic hysteria) doesn't happen. You wouldn't know that it's the low season by the flights! They're pretty full.
I will likely be on the island at some point in October to get fingerprinting done for my permanent residency application. Unfortunately, until they notify me of the appointment I won't know when. That may well mean no diving then either.
and not currently planning to dive.
