Hey I won't tell anyone you brought them it will be our little secret :D

CBulla:
I'll not be drinking for a while... so yawl enjoy the booze :D

Since I don't drink does that mean I can't go???? :11:

Non-drinkers get to marinade ... Imean ... bathe the kitties,
then take photographs and let me photoshop em into dive trolls, etc.

EXCellent news on getting the Turkey Roost again!

Now, do we Need to bring enough orange cones to ward off the 4-wheelers?
or just some piano wire?

Thinkin' of bringin' some lobster catch bags for picking up empty bottles
on the drift dive down the river, maybe a innertube with some clips
to hang full bags from.

Sea Dragon and I will prolly head north early friday, show around 2-3pm,
snorkle friday, dive saturday, sleep and soak sunday. No kayaks this year
as it kills my gas mileage.

We're good for a batch of the chocolate chip brownies of death,
bag of marshmallows (+ safety glasses), a backup mystery dessert,
a box of Tide for the kitties, Costco sized jug of ketchup.

Not sure if we should bring a dog ... great fer scrubbin' the loo tho ...

So, I'm interested in going to this even. I don't want to read through the entire thread to know what it's all about. Is there any one page/post that will tell me everything I need to know and to tell my parents to get permission to go? (by the next october, I won't need to ask! :) )

linda, i'm not drinking either...though not exactly by choice...

jjw, we're camping at ginnie springs, on the devil's side, the last weekend of oct. there will be a clean-up drift dive in the run, a galaxy dive in the ginnie ballroom, and possibly a return of the marshmallow trebuchet.

So, if I want to go, I just show up at Ginnie Springs with ____dollars to pay for camping/diving??? I bring my own food and tent. Ginnie Springs has a dive shop, correct? So I can get tank fills? Ought I beg/borrow several tanks? (will there be dives at night or at times when the shop is not open for fills?) Friday through Sunday? When I show up, do I just ask where the devils side is and someone will know what I'm tlaking about and show me where to go to camp? All I have is OW cert, I'm assuming I would be ok for most of the diving? About how many people will be there? Do I need to bring my own pumpkin for the underwater pumpkin carving? Hm, good excuse to buy a dive knife I suppose. About how many peopl are usually there?

all pretty correct! ginnie's shop will rent tanks, for however many days you need them, so you can keep filling or rent two and fill less often. ow is fine for the basic, 'everyone included' dives. last time we had - what, guys, about 30 people but not all were divers??

can't answer the pumpkin question. and don't get a big dive knife - people will make fun of you. get a z-knife and a pumpkin carving kit!
