David can you please explain to us WHERE exactly we are camping this time

Jenny can we PLEASE have a sticky about this event in the main Conch forum so that EVERYONE can see this event. I asked Pete a couple weeks ago and he said it was ok and would do it in a few days. He has been so busy I'm sure he just forgot.

Also adding it to the calendar might be nice and give everyone a place to post they are attending. Maybe you could have a link to it from the sticky in the main forum.

Well, that is still open to debate. I was leaning heavily toward the area by Ginnie Springs itself, but I was wanting input on what everyone thought about the fact that we cannot drive vehicles right up to the camp site.

Ok well my 2 cents is I liked where we were last spring.

The thing about not having our vehicles near camp is 3 fold.
A - where do you park all those cars
B - you will have to tote stuff back and forth ( camping and dive gear )
c - security could be an issue

You know the area much better than me and understand campsite size we need, so I am sure you will make the best choice .

David please PM Jenny with all the event Info so she can put a sticky in the main conch forum and add it to the calendar.

I'll be bringing the scubaboard banner on Friday. If I can't meet up with anyone, I'll leave it at the front desk with Cathy for David or Jenny to pick up when they check in. I'll be taking Sunday off from my other event so I can be there all night and have the omelet bar ready Sunday morning. I just need the particulars of where, and when to be at the campsite Friday morning to drop off stuff.
For the omelet bar on Sunday (maybe Saturday as well) we'll need anything that goes in/on omelets. I'll bring as much as I can. Also let me know what we're doing for a lunch thing on Saturday and what may be needed. There's no way, I'm going to let David poison all the new people without me! BTW, anyone for rumcake in a dutch oven? Maybe as a treat for Saturday night? I'll see if I can find my recipe. I doubt I'll be diving that weekend, but will definitely be up to entertaining.
