Are you guys doing Rawlings on Sunday too?

My gear is packed. We may head to a Quarry Sun. If nobody is goin to Rawlings, it'll be Bluestone.

Sorry to change the subject, but, I am going to be in Cary, NC again Oct 11-15. I fly home the 15th and have business from 8-6 on Wed and Thurs. Is there a place near Cary I could dive with my daughter on Fri morning? The ocean is too far away this time given my schedule. I am really suffering from diving withdrawal here in the desert and am grasping at straws.

The last time I was there, in Sept, Jim called off my dives too, but he got his orders from a higher power named Ophelia.

rolesville quarry, which is also called fantasy lake, is near rolesville/wake forest up hwy 1. it would be about an hour or less from cary depending on traffic. so try that!

Thanks, I will see if we can fit it in. I need to dive and soon. What is it like there at the Quarry? How big is it? What is the water temp?

it's big, average vis maybe 10', i don't know current temps. anybody else know?
