Performance wise there's nothing in it, depends if you want a clean sealed diaphragm or messy sealed piston. Apeks are easier to self service too if you wanna go down that road. I've owned both, I'm partial to diaphragm regs, I'd pick Apeks over Atomic, in fact I did.

Message me with the NZ Apeks price if you like I'd almost guarantee I could do better even with additional shipping costs.

To add, Apeks being owned by Aqualung "should" be easier to get serviced if on a tropical holiday, ALs service network is far greater than Atomics. Having said that both are very reliable so this is likely non issue 99% of the time.

You'll not go wrong with either.

Did I mention I like Apeks...
