I did not know Oceanic Vortex 12 heavier than Bio Fins Pro. They made of the same material.
 
On the contrary they are a bit different. The Bio-fins are 100% rubber towards the v-12's are 70/30 mixture. Also, the bios have a open toe foot pocket and even the x-large are near perfect balance, towards the v-12's are closed toe foot pocket, very wobbly and heavy for a split fin. I've used the v-12's and even gave them a chance before GIVING them away for the bios. They are two completely different beasts.
