Closed Halcyon Evolve 40, needs zipper repair, US $150

Halcyon Evolve 40 for sale.

• From 2011. Has the old-style rear dump valve. This has finer threads than the current model. Not compatible with using the current Halcyon SMB dump valve cover in case you need to replace it. Some old-school divers prefer this original dump valve though.
• Zipper needs work. The "retaining box" is broken. This means the zipper teeth start to come apart at the starting end of the zipper. Halcyon declined to repair this. Malibu Scuba Repair (Zen Dive Co, Pasadena) will work on it though. If you don't want to replace the entire zipper, you could probably sew or epoxy the starting end shut. The zipper is also missing a tooth along its track, but I have never had the zipper come apart at that point and it hasn't been a problem for me.
• Inflator hose included (not pictured). Not an original Halcyon hose and might not be a perfect length. Works though.
• Bladder holds air without leaking.
• Outer Cordura shell is in good shape.
