Dang, can't make it today! Sorry guys!

Hope to see you diving soon....

I surprised no one has posted yet. It was a great weekend. The only thing that could have made it better would have been some diving. I enjoyed the party at Marvel's house. Thanks for the cake. It is good to be 21. lol.....

Oceanfest was nice. I only wished we would have had some more manufacturers there. I to give thanks to Eric for setting us up with a great hotel. It was nice being across the street from Oceanfest.

It was also fun watching the monkeys...

I hope to a lot of you all at the next SB event that I can make.

Hey all!

We had a great time at Ocean Fest - granted, the show itself was small, but the company more than made up for it! My wife, niece and her bf all were very impressed with everyone they met (which may say something about my relatives)!

Wished we could have met more of the folks on ‘the board’ and attended the Friday night party, but that’s the luck of the draw I guess.

For those of you who didn’t attend, let me say that the seminars on photography were well worth the trip! Learned a lot!

Take care!

Lee

Marvel's party was fantastic. Was good seeing lots of old friends, and meeting new ones. I wish I would of brought my gear, as the dive was doable, but, was resigned to tasting Bacardi instead. OH, Mempilot can cook a killer steak! I could cut it with a plastic knife.
Saturday was pretty good, even though I was pretty stressed out over some situations. I did get to see one of Marty Snyderman's photo session, and it was well worth the effort scrambling to get there.
Marvel, Hermit Crab and I went back on Sunday and got our Reef ID books signed by Paul Human. Marty had another fantastic presentation on sharks, and afterwards stood outside for quite a while answering questions.

HAD a fantastic time! I saw a seminar and got to Heckle a freaky, misinformed, newbie diver (all barefooted, hairy and smelled of tofu) that was rude to the presenter, accusing him of traumatizing sharks.

The weather was COLD! Windy! which made the sun even more appreciated when I took some time out to watch a locals two man team beach volleyball game, and the early sunrise the next morning.

I FINALLY joined DAN after all these years so now I can dive Jupiter @ Four Dives a day on 21% also.. I mean why pay $90.00 and not get to take a ride in the chamber.. that is like wasting money right?

I had a great time with old friends and new, meeting and thankfully all getting along. Laughs and "smack talk" was enjoyed by all.

I am looking forward to Ginnie Springs Mega Dive!

PS-- AS A CRY FOR HELP...!!... Does anyone know of a Brazilian JuJitsu DoJo that I can get some private lessons... I need some new skills QUICK!!

Geez - I was sitting in the back of the Shark Presentation on Sunday and miss ya all!
Twas a Great Weekend - unfortuately couldn't make Marvel's Great Blast, but will try for the next one. Hopefully the winds will start dying down so we can Beach Dive More!!
