Hi all, another nudigeek here.
I take Eastern Bali as one of the nudi capitals of the world, home of one of my fav nudis, the doto sp. known as the "donut nudi".

Had a great nudi dive yesterday, seems a few are quite active laying eggs like this Phyllodesmium and Janolus species below

Have not managed to identify this one though

The pointer is 5mm in diameter

also came across this Chromodoris obsoleta it had also been laying eggs

Only the third time I have come across one of these off the east coast of UAE

Hey Luko, Tulamben? Bali just went on my list of Nudi spots to visit. These are some truly unique looking Nudibranchs.
Yes Jack, Tulamben is the place to dwell, so you can dive other nudi hotspots like Melasti (The "donut nudi" spot) or Seraya which are just a 5mn drive away. Aim for Liberty Dive Resort they have a nitrox for free policy plus they give you a private guide with an hawkeye for nudis also for free.

Here's some more from Tulamben area (for nudibranches from the other parts of mainly indonesia, you can also browse my flickr nudi, nudi, nudi gallery ):

Probably 3*Doto Ussi but I'm not sure...

Welcome Luko! I can see why the donut nudi is your favorite. wow. Just wow.

Welcome Bop! Glad you could finally join us. What kind of nudi is that?

Here is a page of Nudi shots from National Geographic magazine.........

I'd say we have shots of equal if not better quality here on Nudibranch Lovers, but the white background is an interesting effect. How do they do that and are the shadows shopped in?
