My son has a nose problem which prevent him from diving. deviated separation, so all air use only one nostril, and he has recurrent infections on the closed side. The problem was discovered when he was 13, and the ORL doctor told us that he should get surgery once he has stopped to grow. My question is: what does it mean exactly? When he does not gain any heigth, when structure of face does not change any more, what? Now he is soon 16, heigth 1,85m (>6'), and he constantly asks "When will I get surgery?" We will wait the necessary time, but he would like to have an idea of when it will happen.
He has the misfortune to have a kid certification in pool and was forbidden to dive just before going to sea!
