I agree with NDL_Diver that whatever reaches Cozumel is likely to be short lived. The brisk N wind started up here in Austin late yesterday afternoon and continued into the night, but this morning it is dead calm.IT IS COMING IN HERE IN GALVESTON TONIGHT, THE 9TH. GALE WARNINGS ARE UP WITH NORTH WIND UP TO 40MPH GUSTS. NORMALLY HITS COZ 2 DAYS LATER.

not short-lived, still closed as of 12/12/23Thanks,
It should be short lived, 1 day port closing (maybe). NNE, N, ENE over 25 KM/hr is a closure for shure. Waves breaking on Melgar is another closure for sure. Port captain in bad mood, well maybe closure.
