Nitek Q buttons

Hi, here's a question just for argument sake, but I like to go to bed each day less ignorant than the previous day

Today, I've changed for the second time the buttons on my Nitek Q. I've been using it as a backup computer for some years.

I've noticed the buttons are magnetic, but I fail to understand why they stop to operate properly. Less magnetic after a few years ? Less tension in the spring ? Something else ?

Who has any idea ?

My experience Thank you Dive Rite

I no longer use the Nitek Q as my backup but I still own it and it works perfectly. I bought a set of replacement buttons should I ever need them.
