And I would add even when the boat isn't moving as the guy behind you is going to throw his camera or mask in there and bang your rig.
Years ago i was on a trip where everyone had left thier nikonos floating in the tank, a guy comes back from his night dive and sees his backup light (UK Q40) has a leak, he unscrewed it. Of course it is now under pressure on the inside where the sea water has reacted with the batteries to form a nice cocktail. On releasing the pressure it spat burning acid all over him and he threw it in the rinse tank :11: no one knew he had done this until later and consequently all the camera seals were now buggered.

I still hate people putting dive lights in the camera rinse tank leaking or not
