Darn...

They could think about us, poor divers, looking for interesting and new things underwater ;)
 
Now adays just about nothing can be left in the water, especially fresh water lakes. Even major shipwrecks are being cut up and salvaged if they are within one to two hundred feet of the surface.

The exception are things that have been "Cleaned" and sunk with a permit.
