Found it.

@Dan Thank you! Is the bottom another piece of acrylic glued in place?
Yes. My practical machinist eliminated the boss fit at the bottom to save cost. He just glued 3/16” thick acrylic disc on to the acrylic cylinder bottom.

I use jacket BCD, Cressi Travelight BCD. The PLB1 case is about half the size of a roll of SMB. Likewise that of nexGen MRG. So I have both PLB1 in a case & nexGen MRG to fit in my BCD left waist pocket, while the SMB & spool in the BCD right waist pocket. So I don’t have those safety devices dangling around like Christmas ornaments and stay streamline, eliminating any potential of the devices getting caught on something when you go into a tight space underwater.

Please report back after you purchase the PLB and the canister.
So my report back is that I’ve been carrying my ACR PLB in a Dryfob XL hooked to my butt d-ring where it is completely out of the way until I need it. There’s enough room for the PLB and a chocolate bar.

I’ve completed tec dives to 150’ without any leaks or problems.
