If there is a seat, I'll be there. You guys are a fun group :D

Since I was at 1hr 53 minutes last time, I think 2 hours should be no problem.

Howard, just make sure you cover up your earring. Cause if the fish are the same type as before, we don't want blood in the water. :rofl3:

Kim, I know y'all are planning a dive/get together this weekend, but I can't make it, but I'm planning a repeat dive day next saturday May 26(day before I turn 50).

I've been on the other thread. When and where are you guys meeting? I would like to join you if it's ok.

Ed:
Weather/viz permitting, the plan is to meet up at the beach access for Spanish Rocks, hit the water about 10 am, afterward have lunch, refill tanks and dive the Sugar Barge about 1:30 pm. Right now that is just the tentitive plan, nothing is set.

This is the plan for tomorrow the 19th 9am dive all divers welcome:

Take I-75 south from Tampa to the Bradenton/ State road 64 exit( there is an A and B so take the A exit it will head you toward the beach). You are going to take the exit toward the right. Stay on that road for about 8 miles or so until you get to Gulf Dr.( you will hit Gulf Dr. after you cross the intercoastal waterway)You make a left on Gulf Dr. and take it down about 1/2 mile. Just before the curve to the left there is a beach access and parking. That is where you want to be. It is a small sand lot between some houses and apartments. Just pull in there and park.

A good spot for an afternoon dive … bring 2 tanks if interested
They are both are on Bradenton Beach about 2 miles apart, with Spanish Rocks being the northernmost of the two.

"Sugar Barge" AKA "Regina"
Location: "At the end of Cortez Road West in Bradenton Beach, turn north on Gulf Drive and travel to 7th St. The wreck is located approximately 75 yrds off the beach, directly across from SeaTrek Divers." For the gadget addicted the GPS Coordinates are
27 28.135N, 82 42.129W

Thanks Moteman and Happy birthday :)

So how far south of Tampa is the exit for state rd 64 .... or the exit numer/mile marker ;)
