Hi everyone,

Ever since I was a kid, I loved the water and preferred being under than staying on the surface. I can swim just fine on the surface, but just went under all the time. Yea know? I have always wanted to dive and finally decided to make the time and do it.

I'm doing the classroom/elearner part of it right now and will have my certification done in a couple months. The cool part is that I will finish my open water dives down in the Yucatan Peninsula, a very short distance from Cozumel, because we are going on vacation. Yeah, pretty stoked about that.

Hoping to make some new friends and dive buddies while here.

Safe all

John

Congratz to you on working on joining the ranks of the dive community!!

There are some of the biggest morays I've ever seen in the waters off the mainland of the Yucatan. You will have a blast.

Greetings from a fellow NJ diver!
