I am an experienced diver (certified PADI in 1975) ... Advanced Open Water Course with University of Florida in 1981.

Trying to find a local diver who needs a diving partner.

I'm interested in trying out Fantasy Lake Sunday 9/12/04.

I was certified and continue to take classes through Gypsy Divers in Raleigh. Great bunch of people. Be sure to check them out for any of your diving needs. There is also Down and Under in Cary and they seem like a nice group over there. I've only been in their shop a couple of times but they've always been very friendly and helpful in answering questions.

I'm going to be diving with some people (one an instructor at Gypsy) on the 25th & 26th of September at the Quarry (a.k.a. Fantasy Lake). If you're interested in meeting us out there let me know. That Sunday I think Gypsy is also having their last BBQ at the quarry for the summer. Would give u an opportunity to meet some people.

welcome to scuba board and yes there are plenty of us in nc that love to dive , my self will be working of course the 12th , I also can recommend gypsy divers as a member there even though . I live 60 miles away, we just recently opened up a shop around hear Pinehurst NC. So trying to support them too!!!!!!!

What is the best place in Raleigh to be scuba certified and does anyone know how much certification/lessons costs ? I am trying to buy a pkg for my husband and I for Christmas so we can learn to dive. Any help you can give me would be appreciated. Thanks.
