Hey Everybody!

Just earned my OW Certification in September, and I'm absolutely hooked!

I'm just starting to research and acquire the remainder of my dive gear (wetsuit, computer, reg, bc), and was lucky enough to come across this site.

What a fantastic resource for beginners and experts alike! The contrast of opinions and research is fantastic. It's like hanging out in a thousand dive shops all at once.

I too am new to the sport and this board. My situation is very similar to your own; I obtained my c-card in January (you've probably put in a few more dives than I have), am gradually acquiring all of my gear (waiting for delivery of my new BCD now) and I too live in Southern California. Perhaps we'll run into one another on a future dive!
