how cold i was just wondering because i know someone that has a micro and likes it but maybe you were just in colder water well let me know thanks again

I hate to sound like a broken record (2 or 3 other threads have this comment in there some place), but the Genesis Valor and the USD Micra are pretty much the same reg. I use the Valor in 50-55F water without a problem. That is not the definition of cold water for these guys that use a saw and pickaxe to get through the hard water :cold: to get to the liquid stuff.

Less than 45F or so. My buddy had a Micra for a few weeks and retired it after having freeze up problems. I've heard similar problems regarding the Viper.
