Just completed open water course on kuramathi, am really hooked on marine life and would like to start photographing. Any advice on buying equipment would be appreciated. Also want to buy 'shortie', dive computer etc. Haven't got a clue where to start so hopefully someone will give me some pointers.

Thanx

Pete

First of all, congrats on your OW certificate!

Second, where is Kuramathi?

Lastly, you might want to get some dive experience under your belt before your focus strays into photography. Get used to diving, and get used to your dive equipment.

Then you can start to play with other distractions.

Just my opinion.

Welcome to the board!
DD gave some great advice. I too was wondering where Kuramathi is.

I did a Google search. It's in the Maldive Islands.

What a spectacular place! I don't know how the diving is, but the island is really gorgeous.

How does one get there?

Howdy Pete!
