personally I would not buy anything until after you complete you OW. for the class the shop that you will be training with will require you to have a mask, boots, snorkel, fins, weight belt and weights all of which you should have them assist you with the fitting. everything else you can rent for your check out dives.
once you get your OW cert, then rent different BCD types and find one that works best for you, then a computer and wetsuit. regulators and tanks should be your last investment if your seriously going to be diving on a regular basis.
