hi folks, first off, my apologies if this same question has been asked before, i tried searching via the "Search" box but couldn't find a similar post, here's my query in summary;
I got a Uwatec Aladin Prime last weekend; nice comp, but the rubber wrist strap it comes with is way too long..! I'm 6ft 1in with average sized hands, but even when i wear it higher up my arm its still too much rubber flapping around.. any suggestions/recommendations on what my options are? Thanks much.. - ddavid

Loop the strap back through the retainer.

Trim it off to 2"-3" long. The extra rubber is to grip with cold hands. Even Popeye had to cut some off...I believe it's long for the Wetsuit or Drysuits of Quarter inch or wetsuits with Gloves. Trim for the biggest wrist that is going to use the computer/Watch.........Bill

hey thanks very much Vie & dilligaf368.. gosh you guys are fast.. Vie: Excellent pic; one look at it and i know exactly how to loop it now.. a picture does indeed paint a thousand words.. dilligaf: yeah trimming it was a thought that crossed my mind at first, but wasnt sure if i shld get out the scissors till after i get confirmation from Scubaboard members.. thanks guys..
